The Story
Complete Camper was originally an empty delivery van. No windows, no internal seating, no floor, nothing.
Being a campervan owner for almost 13 years, I had some understanding of how they work and what makes living in a small space easier and what definately doesn't. So we set about making the ultimate camper.
I wanted to design something that was going to work around me and not the other way around. Something that was going to enable me to 'wild camp', to fit into spaces other larger vans couldn't get into and to not be reliant on campsites.
All the campervans that offered the facilities that I dreamed of were, unfortunately, completely beyond my budget. So, after a lot of consideration, I decided to create a 'complete camper'.
This van has a high roof, which I find much more useful than a pop-top, with the only down side being that it won't fit into some NCP London carparks. In my eyes this is not enough of a drawback when I'm gaining loads more storage space and a very cool hammock bed up top!
I knew I wanted a washroom with hot running water and a toilet and lots of other comforts that would enable me to be self-sufficient. Fitting a washroom in was NO easy task I can tell you, but with lots of planning, tweaking, measuring and patience we achieved it. A washroom that to everyone looks like a wardrobe with full length mirror but when the mirror is slid out of the way... well it's quite a thing to see!
